Gain Knowledge and Skills to live a life of Location Independence as a Family

We’re hosting a remote conference in August of this year!

Imagine hearing from the best speakers on the most important topics to you, all from the comfort of your home, sailboat, RV, Airbnb or wherever you find yourself.

What is a Remote Conference?

In short, it’s a conference where everyone is on a video call from their computers. No need for flights for the family or to find housing in a city you might be uncomfortable just to attend a conference.

Like in-person conferences, the NomadTogether remote conference is a knowlege-building resource packed with sessions, interviews, and panel discussions. Because of the lack of expenses like a hotel, food, and more we’re able to offer our remote conference at a fraction of the price of in-person equivalents.

Remote conferences are online, which means you can access them from anywhere – as long as you have an internet connection.

Topics Covered in August for our first NomadTogether Remote Conference

j

Education

What do you do for education of your kids? Tutors, worldschooling, unschooling, homeschooling, And how do you do it? What about enrolling your children for a period of time in another school in another country? Yup, we’ll cover that too!

Money

How you can make money from the road. Either through remote work, running a business, gig work, or even other creative ideas. We’ll also cover budget travel, increasing income and money saving tips like housesitting.

Do I have to be traveling to attend the NomadTogether Remote Conference?

Nope! NomadTogether and the Remote Conference seek to support families living their dream lifestyle through location independence. Some people would prefer to not have to be tied to a location for work and school so they can live by family, or so they can spend more time with their kids, or so they can move to their dream location. However, what NomadTogether and the Remote conference teaches is how to have freedom from the two largest chains that prevent us from living our dreams, jobs/money and a school system.

There are many other topics that come up depending on what lifestyle you choose, like how to find cheap accommodations while traveling, or what is flag theory, or parenting styles, or how to buy a sailboat but in general for the keynotes of this first NomadTogether Remote Conference we’ll be focused on the two main topics which apply to all lifestyles of location independence: Money and Education.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

When are these sessions?

We will not have any sessions overlap, and we will provide recorded video access to each session which helps if you cannot make it to the live session. We’re working with the speakers to coordinate dates and times. Thus the discount for the early bird registrations.

Do I have to pay the full conference price to only attend one session?

Yes, we are putting this together as a package deal and a package experience. While there are two “main topics” covered the remote conference is a full package deal. We believe that many will benefit from both tracks as we’re all in this together.

Do I have to have a special computer/setup to participate?

We’re working with a couple of online conference software providers, but we guarantee that you will be able to watch and participate if you have a current Windows, Mac, iOS or Android device. For Q/A time after the speaker sessions and the Q/A times you will need a microphone and earbuds/headset to participate. A camera is always welcome as if you enable it we can match a face to a name and develop more community time.

Do I need to register both of us or for my whole family?

We are offering this as an unlimited registration for the family. Anyone in your immediate family may attend, participate in group chat and other forms of community around this remote conference.  So you only need one registration per immediate family. We ask that you respect our speakers, their time and effort and not broadcast the sessions to non-paying families. Thank you for respecting everyone and their creative effort to produce a great online experience.

Do you offer refunds?

100% of your registration fee is refundable until July 1. After that date 50% of your registration fee can be refunded up until Aug 1 at which time we will not be offering any refunds.
